I know in your mind you are thinking like ' how dare you to say that?' before you label it as heresy, I got it from 2 Cor 5:18-19(NLT) It says.. And all this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to Him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, NO LONGER COUNTING people's SINS against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others(emphasis is mine).

You may be wondering how could this be, has God suddenly go soft on sins? or are you the one making it look trivial? Because, what I have been hearing is that, God has a book of record for all our deeds.

I understand such thoughts, this is what happens:

1. God hasn't gone soft on sin. He is so tough on sin that he made Jesus died a shameful death on the cross. All of his anger that he could have poured on you because of your sin, he poured it on Jesus on the cross. On the cross, God made Jesus, who never sinned, to become sin, so we could be made the righteousness of God in him.(2Cor5:21), Isa 53:4-5

2. You are not a sinner because you sin, you sin because you are a sinner! What made you a sinner is because you are born of a man and woman the origin of which is from Adam and Eve. Adam sin is the only sin of the whole world before God and that was the sin Jesus took upon himself, punished for, and died for. ( When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. Rom5:12NLT ). Every other sin originated from the original sin of Adam. Once you believe in Christ, your sin, the original sin from Adam is taken away(Ps103.12) and you become a new person entirely.(2Cor5:17). You may ask what happen to my sins?  God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us.(Rom3:25NLT). So all your entire life sins have been dealt with on the body of Jesus Christ.

3. Once you are in Christ, that is believe in Jesus Christ as your savior, you have become His special child and you have entered into a new covenant with God, and in this covenant(agreement), he said, He will be merciful (forgive) your wrongdoings, and He will never again remember your sins (Heb8:10 &13). It is impossible for God to lie! Rom3:4

God no longer keeping the records of your sins
